My two cents

Old Poem: Just One More Year

After 35 years at age 75 Just one more year.

Tires are slick, brake pads thin, spraying season is about to begin.
Lots of oil on the hangar floor, Hope this old Pratt has a few hours more.
Spark plugs old, electrodes thin, better clean and gap to run them again.
Nozzles are warn, pump brakes out, better wire the boom clamps still looks stout.
Last year's freeze came on so fast, I'll start spraying on leftover gas.
Credits all gone, farmers can't pay can't sell corn, cotton or hay.
Counties knockin in on my back door didn't finish papers the year before.
Still got my tools pilot license too all I need is a new ground crew.
Can't hire girls, wife gets mad, kids won't work for Mom and Dad.
Might hire a pilot he'd fly for a song. Hoping to fly as the season goes on.
Bug man says prices are down, got to work cheaper or get out of town.
Wife says Harold finds some other work, deep inside my heart gave a jerk.
I know our future is a little bit hazy, but give up crop dusting? You think I'm crazy?
In all of my life I hold you most Dear but an ag pilot needs just one more year.
